Hawkz and Kallie escape danger only to face new dangers. Hawkz, the scullery boy, and Kallie, the cabin girl, have fled Captain Tuckr Priggs and the Plunder Gun with the help of Spudz and Rooster, two seemingly sympathetic pirates. Marooned on Phantom Island, Spudz and Rooster take on new and dangerous personas. As a result, the two young people are forced to make plans to strike out on their own. However, the pirates have schemes of their own that do not bode well for Hawkz and Kallie. They turn to Elone in their time of need, but with no assurance that he will help them as they face a new Phantom Island adventure.
