'Tis Grace Shall Lead Me On: A Hearing-Impaired Man's Journey by Faith

Roger J. Walker, Jr. was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1955. Although Roger was born with normal hearing, he soon became hearing impaired through the actions of his father. Roger embarked on his journey through life without the support of hearing aids or other assistance for his hearing loss. However, he did have support—the faith of his mother that he would overcome any odds through his own personal faith in God. This story chronicles that journey and how Roger overcame the many obstacles in his path to become a successful hearing-impaired adult in a hearing world.
