After a chance meeting with two Swedes who were visiting Australia, Dylan McClain was invited to work on an archaeological excavation on the island of Visingsö in the great Lake District of Sweden. He unexpectedly falls in love with a co-worker and his wild playboy days were over.
When a treasure trove they found turned out to be more than what they bargained for their lives were changed forever. The discovery was deemed important enough for the Swedish authorities to remove all non Swedish personnel from the dig.
An insider leaked the information of the discovery to a third force who will stop at nothing to obtain the treasure.
Although McClain and his Swedish girlfriend left the island they still managed to solve the mystery of the treasure. They became the hunted as the outside force followed them from Sweden through Europe to Australia in a bid to wrest the treasure and its secrets from them.
