Spanish Phase 4, Units 1-30: Learn to Speak and Understand Spanish with Pimsleur Language Programs

During the first 10 lessons of Phase 4, you'll speak about professions, work, express opinions, create complex sentences discussing the past, present and future, and discuss modern technology. You'll speak and understand longer and more complex sentences and you'll find yourself easily understood, even by native speakers unused to dealing with foreigners.

the next 10 lessons of Phase 4 you'll speak in greater depth on topics such as your health, family, the weather, and use relative structures and adjectives to describe and compare people, places and things. You'll learn new structures and vocabulary to help with shopping, vacations and hotel stays. Conversations become more detailed and rich as your speech becomes fluid and effortless.

the final 10 lessons of Phase 4, you'll continue to build your language skills and you'll be speaking with a high-intermediate level of fluency, with a near-native accent and quick and effortless responses. You'll learn to speak in more detail about vacationing: going to the beach and swimming pool, sunbathing, choosing inside or outside seating at a restaurant, taking a walk, talking about sports.

Reading Lessons are included at the end of Unit 30. These lessons, which total about one hour, are designed to give you further practice reading Spanish, expand your vocabulary, and deepen your ability to read complex sentences.
