"The continued sluggish economy, looming significant regulatory burdens, and cost containment efforts are keeping U.S. banks from innovative core banking initiatives, focusing on maintenance instead. However, U.S. banks are warned not to ignore the core modernization of their international peers with sights set to U.S. expansion."
