I learned to play solitaire from my brother at Orchard Beach in The Bronx as a boy growing up. I played rummy and gin rummy with my father who taught me how to be strategic when playing. Then there was casino, a game I mastered. I did not lose a 100 point game of casino from the time I was 14 until I was in my 50's when one of my wife's nephews beat me by two points.

Now my son and I play cards and I've tried to teach him to have fun and win.
Our iPad has allowed him to practice different games and get better AND allowed me to have a break from my schedule. I love it!
