Foundation Nail

“Foundation Nail” is a short story of magic inspired by a real Sumerian Foundation Nail. A friend heard that I was involved in transliterating cuneiform for one of my Sci-Fi books and asked me to determine whether the nail he had inherited was worth anything. It now sits on my desk providing moments of inspiration.
