Acupuncture De-Mystified

Firstly let me say that my background and practice were for many years based solely on what I learnt in my studies and practice as a General Practitioner in Western Medicine.

It came as a suprise to myself as much as to my colleagues when I began to explore the traditional Chinese treatment we know as "acupuncture". It was not what I read nor was taught, it was my first hand exposure to acupuncture in practice that opened my eyes to the ways Eastern and Western medicine could complement each other in the successful treatment of my patients.
