The MInd of Hugh Travis

Lorraine Travis protects her Downs Syndrome-afflicted son, Travis, from society, but he has become marrying age. Travis meets the love of his life and begins a transition to better jobs and marriage. His girlfriend is beaten and assaulted and Travis is accused of the crime by a man and a system seeking political office on the shoulders of the racial divide. Lorraine and Detecive Sergeant Bert Heath fight the entrenched system to save her son and his girlfriend.
