1903 Springfield Plans Mauser Werke 1928 Col Whelen Full Size

Hard to believe but true! In 1928 A.F. Stoeger and Lt. Col. Whelen got together to persuade Mauser Werke to build sporting rifles on M-1903 Springfield barreled actions. These are the Mauser factory plans for that rifle reproduced on a professional blue print machine. I have the original (not for sale) so I can assure the authenticity and accuracy of these blueprints. No here's the best part, they are FULL SIZE !!! Plans show profile, cutaway and cross section views. All dimensions in inches and MM. It is claimed that one rifle was built but it was stolen by the French (along with everything else) when they took over the works. Note the plan is dated 18/8/28 (august 18, 1928) and the interesting misspellings "sice" not size". A rare treasure for the 03 and/or Mauser collector.
