SSPC-VIS 1 Guide and Reference Photographs for Steel Surfaces Prepared by Dry Abrasive Blast Cleaning, SSPC Publication 02-12

SSPC's most widely used visual reference features over 50 full-color photos of previously coated and uncoated, rusted steel surfaces before and after white metal (SP 5/ NACE 1), near-white (SP 10/NACE 2), commercial (SP 6/NACE 3), industrial (SP 14/NACE 8), and brush-off blast cleaning (SP 7/NACE 4). Appendix photographs show variations in white metal surfaces caused by different metallic and non-metallic abrasives, and by differences in profile depth, angle of view and lighting.
