Amina Comes To Harlem

Harlemite businessman, Kevin, and West African villager, Amina, couldn’t be further apart in terms of where they are in their relationships. Kevin has been engaged to Lisa for several years but things seem to be moving backward instead of forward between them. And Amina is about to relocate to Harlem to marry Alou, the love of her life.

But Amina is thrown a curveball when she learns that Alou has been taken into police custody and is scheduled to be deported by the I.N.S. on the exact same day she arrives in New York City.

When Kevin reaches out the hand of friendship to Anima and invites her into his home, problems arise.
