Karnaataka Rajyotsava

The author of this book has published a title 'Karnaataka Rajyotsava and Other Essays' in book form before. In order to make it easy for readers of the Kindle version, the author has split the title into two separate books. These two books can not be described as two parts of a series because the 'other essays' in the original title can be considered as an independent collection. This subject Kindle book retains the first part of the title 'Karnaataka Rajyotsava'. The second part consisting of a collection of essays will be treated as a distinct Kindle book and it will be put out at a later date with a different title.
Karnaataka Rajyotsava refers to the birth of Karnaataka state in the Indian Union. It is new a new state formed as recently as in 1956. It is a linguistic state in the sense that it unites geographical areas with people speaking Kannada langauage.
