The 103rd volume, in two books, of the series Literaturnoe Nasledstvo includes correspondence of Afanasii Fet with writers who were his contemporaries: I. Borisov, V. Botkin, Ia. Polonskii, S. Shevyrev, and I. Turgenev. This correspondence reflects the history of the poetic school later known as the poetry of "pure art". The first book of this volume is introduced with the article " A.
