CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD

Conversations With God is comprised of a series of short stories or vignettes, whose characters sometimes reappear in later chapters, all of them involving the author's interpretation of what might be said between the human and the divine in a variety of contexts. Most often the dialogues take place between the spirit of a deceased person and his or her God following the death of the human, but on some occasions there is such interaction during the lifetime of the character portrayed. Persons representing all of the major religions are involved in these conversations, but the emphasis is upon Christianity. Important questions are addressed, such as the importance of forgiveness,what goes on in the afterlife, good versus evil, free will versus God's plan for every human being, heaven versus hell, and what both of the latter are like. Do not expect a Dante's Inferno, but the author's view of each may surprise you. Has not all of humankind wondered if there is life after death, and if so, what may be expected in the afterlife? This novel posits some interesting and enlightening answers.
