In 1966 - 1988 South Africa stood alone against Soviet imperialism. In a 22 year conflict, a small African army stood its ground against the might of the Soviet Union and its proxies, with covert support from a number of western countries. Never amounting to more than approximately 100 000 soldiers, consisting primarily of citizen force conscripts, they fought in a series of campaigns ranging from counter-insurgency operations to full blown conventional war.

Whilst historians rewrite the past to suit the order of the day, Bush Warrior provides the evidence from the people who took part in the actual fighting and leaves you to draw your own conclusions.
