Buyer Conversation: Overhauling OSS/BSS to Prepare for LTE

This IDC Insight discusses with a CIO of a leading MNO in Hong Kong the impact that LTE will have on the legacy OSS/BSS and how the carrier can overhall its system to be prepared for the challenges of a 4G LTE world. More specifically, the conversation focused on what IT system priorities will be in the next three to five years as most, if not all, existing OSS/BSS systems in Hong Kong are aging and need to be overhauled in order to prepare for the low-latency, high-bandwidth ecosystem that will invariably accompany LTE.
