Rafael Estrella's Dual Language Library is dedicated to bringing classic titles to a bilingual interlinear format specifically for e-Books. This version brings you the classic short story of Herodias by Gustave Flaubert. I have preserved the original translation of Arthur Sydney McDowall from French to British English as much as possible. However, in order to preserve a continuity of the intlerlinear dual language format, I added text the original translator had failed to include. Because of the liberties that Mr. McDowall took in his translation of this work and because of the inherent differences in grammar and punctuation between the two languages, a true interlinear format was not possible. Cette version vous apporte la courte histoire classique d'Hérodias de Gustave Flaubert. J'ai conservé dans la mesure du possible la traduction originale d'Arthur Sydney McDowall du français à l'anglais britannique. Toutefois, afin de préserver une continuité du format texte alternant , j'ai ajouté du texte que le traducteur avait omis d'inclure. Du fait des libertés que M. McDowall a pris dans sa traduction de ce ouvrage et en raison des différences inhérentes à la grammaire et à la ponctuation entre les deux langues, un véritable format texte alternant n'était pas possible.
