This book on "Electrical Machines" has been written for students preparing for B.E./B.Tech, A.M.I.E. section B, U.P.S.C., and other Competitive Examinations . It consists of two parts: Part I ? deals with D.C. machines, and Part II ? deals with A.C. machines and Polyphase circuits. Besides this, "Additional Topics" and a "Questions Bank" on "Objective Type Questions" have been incorporated at the end of the book to make it a comprehensive unit in all respects.
