Master of Rome
Description
The murder scene of Julius Caesar has, through the centuries been muddied by too much and too little detail. What did he cry out as his assassins struck him down? As to the ancient historians , C.Tranquillus Suetonius, Plutarch, Appian of Alexandria and I. Eutropius, they each had their say. One embellishes, another distorts leaving the true nature of Caesar whether villain or saint still to be decided. He was one of those few men who achieved greatness on his own terms and being judged throughout history as one who deserves to be so named as the Master of Rome.
