📖 Description
The objective of this book is to give an overview of the framework and guidelines utilised by major international banks in identifying how banks are controlled and managed. We will review the management structures of a typical bank and focus on a bank's executive management process, and particularly pertaining to Asset & Liability Management responsibilities. This review will include the external and internal banking environment and its impact on a bank's overall strategies in establishing short-term and long-term business objectives.
A major contribution in the achievement of a bank's strategies will be based on the financial policies and decisions made by an Asset & Liability Committee ("ALCO").
