Disorder in the Court

Disorder in the Court is a humorous look at how society has affected the way we think, act and dress, particularly concerning court defendants. The outrageous antics of people in a real court of law are examined by “THE GREETER” to show how difficult it is to run a courtroom in the 2000s. The text contains excerpts of events from both the court and the author’s former police career. There are no holds-barred from adjectives used to describe the behavior of people. The author is referred to as “The Greeter,” which will be explained in the text. Relax, read and enjoy. But keep a box of tissues handy, as you may be brought to tears with laughter.


The author is a retired municipal police Sergeant from a very busy metropolitan police agency in the northeastern United States. After retiring, he stayed on with his agency as an officer assigned to protect the Judge and court staff. This is his first published book with plans to continue writing.
