Description

Adam Gentry had never been what you might consider lucky. Abandoned at the age of eleven, he was left to fend for himself on streets that chewed up and spit out people far tougher and far older than himself. He was driven by hunger into committing a petty crime and wound up at a juvenile detention facility, and while there learned that his mother, the only family he had ever known, died at the hands of a serial killer out in California. Confined to the facility for years on end, he later found employment as a mechanic at a low pay, dead end auto shop upon his release, and although he was free, he was also all alone in the world with no friends, no family, no love, no future, and no hope for tomorrow. Oh but what a difference a day makes.

A relative, one whom Adam's mother had said died long before he was born, apparently died for the second time, only this time he left Adam a farmland estate in the middle of Pennsylvania that came with buyers eager to buy if Adam was willing to sell. If that wasn't enough good news, Adam's slave-driving boss, the one who seemed to loathe the very ground Adam walked on, was retiring soon and wanted Adam to take over ownership of the shop. Stating that Adam needed some structure in his life, this same boss introduced Adam to his neice, a redhead model and college student named Dominique Winters, and smitten by a fatal case of love at first sight, Adam proposed. To his unspeakable delight, Dominique accepted.

With his future all but secured and now looking extremely bright, Adam traveled to Pennsylvania to sell the estate. He was more than ready to begin his life anew with a butt-load of cash in his pocket and Dominique by his side, but as always the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry. If he had even the slightest inkling of what awaited him at that country farm in the backwoods of Pennsylvania, Adam would have stayed home trembling in fear, and hid himself deep underneath his bed.
