REVISED RULES OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE ANNOTATED

This book, which is now on its third edition, is an annotation on the Revised Rules of Criminal Procedure promulgated by the Supreme Court of the Philippines effective December 1, 2000. It includes further amendments on the rules since its promulgation. The provisions of the Revised Rules are annotated with citations from recent case law, pertinent legislations, Supreme Court circulars and administrative issuances as well as Department of Justice issuances. Relevant selected decisions of the Supreme Court are digested and presented as illustrative cases. In citing from judicial decisions, the original phrases and sentence structures are, whenever practicable, preserved for their beauty, intent and wisdom. The layout of this digital edition is slightly different from the third edition, which is available in selected bookstores in the Philippines. An insignificant addition or revision on this edition does not appear on the the third edition.
