Everyday Marathi

No matter who you are or what work you do, it is inevitable that you come into contact with people of other nationalities, especially South Asians or Indians, and many of these hail from Mumbai or other places from the western Indian state of Maharashtra.

Saying Bonjour correctly brings a smile to a French man’s face. So will saying ‘kasa kaai’ to a Marathi guy.

Long live Maharashtra, or as they say in Marathi, ‘Jai Maharashtra’!
