In Threads of Memory, Maria Magdalena Campos-Pons weaves together tales of displacement into constructions that form a narrative projected on multiple screens. Sound artist Pamela Z. s contribution combines solo voice, processing, samples and video projections. A series of essays by leading scholars, artists and critics examine these groundbreaking pieces through the framework of Diaspora art and affirm their importance in the fields of conceptual art and new media.
