he question is – Did Lucrezia de Borja [aka Lucrezia Borgia] have a very inconvenient baby at the Convent of San Sisto in 1498, or did she not? On the balance of evidence I think that she did. This then, accepting that premise and allowing me a writer’s licence, is the story of what happened to that little boy and the chain of events, over 500 years, that flowed from that.
