Identity

Karen Garfield has been beaten regularly by her abusive husband, Glyn, who had threatened to kill her if she left him. On a return flight from Spain she befriends a young widow, Amanda. Due to a set of circumstances when the plane crashes and Amanda is killed, they are mistaken for each other and her charred body is wrongly identified by her husband as being Karen. Seeing an opportunity to escape from him, Karen goes along with the error and becomes Amanda. But she knew nothing about her before and there are dark secrets in her past which Karen discovers and has to face.
