Snake robots are not toys. Many dedicated researchers are developing snake robots for a variety of applications. Such as search for terrorist bomb victims, deliver life support to trapped miners, and explore highly radiated devices.

BROWN SNAKE is all hydraulic and has no mechanical or electrical parts. It simulates actual snake movements for excellent traction and is very simple compared to the usual electro mechanical snake robots many labs are working on.
