Cal's Diner. After midnight. As cold as Tennessee autumn gets. A collection of misfits gather for coffee and respite from the road.
Then a terrifed frat-boy staggers in. He's bleeding. His pants are unbuttoned. He's screaming that a lot lizard, a truck-stop prostitute, bit him.
And then she comes back for another bite. Before the night is over they'll all find their place on the new food chain.
"The Lot Lizards" is the first novella from Karl Manz. It reads like the novelization of the best movie you've never seen.
