A Personal Confrontation With Breast Cancer

This is a short essay of a senior lady experiencing breast cancer during the 1970s. It is her personal account of how she faced the many hurdles of treatment which took a mental and physical toll on her life. She was a strong lady and finally, taking the reins in her hands, resolved the issues her way. Modern medicine has determined that radiation sometimes causes more problems than solutions.
