The Assignment

A dispirited President leaves America isolated from its former allies. A group of service men and women are being held hostage further exposing the ineptitude of the President and his advisors. Tragedy strikes the Presidential campaign trail and triggers a chain of events that no one could have foreseen. Marc Carroll, a newly elected representative to the Irish Parliament finds himself at the centre of an investigation into political corruption and business greed. The fate of the hostages and the future of two countries lie in the hands of a rookie politician who has his own private agenda.
