Description
This retelling of Mark Twain's classic story retains as much of the style and storyline of the original as possible, substituting vampires and zombies for characters and situations already in the book. Twain's sharp wit and biting social commentary remain in full force, with added fun and adventure provided by the addition of supernatural dangers. So for a rollickin' good ol' time, join Huck and the runaway slave Jim as they journey down the mighty Mississippi, trying to stay out of trouble and out of the clutches of thirsty vampires and hungry zombies.

Here's a short excerpt to give you a taste of this mash-up novel:
“Do you think they really was vampires?” I asked.
“I dunno,” Tom Sawyer says. “I’m guessin’ vampires would be a mite faster than those fellas. Seems like they oughta have caught more than one of us. An’ I don’t expect I coulda tore the arm off a vampire.”
“Well, one of ‘em almost caught me.” I showed him my shirt, where the mud had been scraped off my shoulder in four narrow rows right where I’d been grabbed. Thank Providence my shirt had been all slippery with mud, or I wouldn’t of been standin’ there right then.
“Coulda been zombies,” Tom mused. “They’s a lot slower than vampires.”
“What’s the difference between them and vampires?”
Tom scratched his chin. “Well, let’s see. Both are dead, sort of. A zombie eats your flesh—I hear they’s ‘specially fond of brains. Vampires, they just drink your blood. And they’s stronger and faster than zombies. But either way, if one of ‘em sinks its teeth into you, you become one of ‘em, forevermore.”
