My aim has been to supply all the information on these subjects which can be needed by the surgeon or practitioner of medicine, and to provide a solid foundation of knowledge from which the dental student may proceed to that fuller study which ought to be undertaken by everyone intending to devote himself to the practice of Dental Surgery. Although I have not neglected to collate authorities, I have personally investigated many of the subjects of dental physiology and most of the problems of dental pathology.
