Spaced Out - Armegeddon

Marie addresses the general assembly; her nervousness disguised by her determination to succeed.
“Gentlemen and ladies I need to share with you the findings of our visitors and why they were motivated to overcome their reservations and crush the North Korean missile silo. This was not an act of war. It was an act of peace. Let me show you why I say this."
The main screen behind her shows a brain simulation of Earth as explosions occur around its surface showing the slight change in tilt. The video pauses showing a red line and a blue line through the poles.
Marie explains, “This is the most probable outcome if nuclear war occurs. North Korea was about to put you on this path. No matter that millions of people will be destroyed; the Earth will eventually do this if you respond in similar fashion."
The video continues and Earth starts a small but noticeable wobble. Again the video pauses and Marie continues her explanation. “This small wobble will intensify over a short six month period, as we predict in this time accelerated clip which is based on hard scientific evidence."
The video shows the exaggeration of the wobble and in blue indicates the current elliptical path around the sun. In the video Earth departs from its sun orbit and crashes into Mars in a massive collision creating huge chunks which spin off into deep space leaving a figure eight, strange looking planet.
In the bottom right hand corner is a running counter which reaches eighty by the time the collision occurs and freezes.
“In six and a half years you will set off a ripple that will impact all of space. You won’t need to worry about it, as you will all be long since dead," announces Marie seriously. “The people, who are worried about it, are the Captain here and his race. Beyond these visitors, exist many other planets with humanoid life, you will destroy."
“Your actions will murder all of them!”
