Full Speed Ahead with a Twinkle in Her Eye: The Life and Legacy of Kate Ireland

This is the story of a most unusual woman - Kathy Ireland, who llived on a 9,000 acre plantation in Florida, with the local parkway named after her. Although she was born in a weathly Cleveland family, she never chose an easy path. She really did want to make a difference - be it on the many organizations she served (a long list in the appendix), on the environment around her in Florida, or on the environment around her family's compound on the Maine coast, to members of her family. And she'd lept many hurdles over the years, including three bouts of cancer and recovering from alcohol and tobacco addiction. This is the story of one of the rare people who make a big difference in life.
