The world's first photo-interviews, conducted in 1864 with the surviving veterans of the Revolutionary War. Contains original photographs of the veterans, along with interviews with them. Some are extremely exciting, relaying dangerous events that the men experienced. This is a reprint -- however five of the six veterans' photos are sharp 1864 images from the author's own collection, taken to illustrate the book.
