Shiver

Shiver is a collection of three short stories of the supernatural. In Sweet Miss Lizzy, a neglected seven-year-old girl finds comfort in the friendship of the kind ghost of a piano teacher. Winged Savior deals with an abused young man who meets a very unusual young woman who offers him a way out of his dismal existence. In Nightmare at the Eastwood, a man who goes to a midnight showing of an old horror classic is not prepared when he finds that the terror extends beyond the screen.
