This manual is a result of the increasing demand for good, reliable information about nail diseases, problems and remedies. More importantly, we have tried to present this information in a usable way. This book has been an on-going project that has undergone many changes and revisions over time. We will keep expanding the information and the scope of this book to include answers to the questions most frequently raised by working nail technicians. Technicians I see all the time, all across the country.
To aid in communicating complex medical terminology to the nail client, we have attempted to provide as much explanation as possible without bogging down the technician. While advanced techs will benefit from the review of a lot of the more basic material, beginning students and recent graduates will find information they will use on a daily basis.
