MY LIFE WAS STOLEN WITHOUT PERMISSION

Who would have thought you can be happy even if you didn't choose it. What should have been a young girl's blithe years were stolen when she was unexpectedly thrown into a new world. She had already gone through despair when her mother died from cancer when she was only fourteen years old and her father remarried a mean untrustworthy stepmother in the months that followed.

Life during that time doesn't get any better when she is deceived by her best friend. After a night of what should have been a fun filled event out, she wakes up with what seemed like a hangover into a new world of life deception. She was held captive against her will in a new existence with different religion and laws. She was married to not one man, but two and experienced many sexual interludes.

Life should have been at its worst, but instead, she found tranquility in a life that was dealt to her. Even though she hadn't selected this life, she was happy. This story leaves you with sadness, tears and happiness. Once you start reading, you can't put it down.

I want to give you my overall impression of your work.: You have quite a story here.... at every turn I was expecting your main character to be poisoned or killed. You kept me hanging until the final page. You really do have a terrific writing style. You have obviously done a significant amount planning and preparation in crafting your work. Your pose is nicely written with details that capture the reader. Right from the start your plot was very engaging. How did she get there? Why was she chosen? Did her friend have anything to do with it? You do a nice job of slowly making your way through the story with details and a certain voice that allows your readers to really interact with the characters (who are all around and very nicely developed). In the end you left me with so many questions... do you have plans to add on? A sequel perhaps? I hope so! The greatest value in fiction, it seems to me lies in what we can learn about our own lives when we take time to analyze someone else's - even if that someone else just a character in a story. I always love it when I leave a story feeling like I know the characters. This is true for your prose. So any authors rush through their stories without really developing them. Not you. Your book read like a movie in my mind. You have crafted a quality piece of writing.

Dear Ms Terry:
After reading your magificient novel "My Life was Stolen Without Permission," I just had to drop you a few lines to let you know how much I enjoyed this novel. The storyline by itself was very good. It told how a teenager's life was turned upside down and how she went through trials and tribulations. I was surprised how she was able to get her life back and was able to once again stand up on solid round. The novel took me on a rollercoaster ride where I felt all the twist and turns of a real life rollercoaster. The story had me on edge from the beginning to the very end. Each page i read was more surprising than the next. I felt like I was in the virtual world of this young girl. As a new voice in this era. I would recommend your novels, Ms. Dolores Terry to all my family and friends and avid readers. You are a new voice to reckoned with and you have something for everyone. Thank you for sharing.

THE BOOK MY LIFE WAS STOLEN WITHOUT MY PERMISSION was very interesting. Once I started reading it, it was hard for me to put down. I felt in tune to the characters. The book was very discriptive. It left me on the edge of my seat in suspense on what the ending was going to be like. I would read the book in between cooking and cleaning. I found myself reading the book more than once. It displayed irony............OVERALL, I GIVE A RATING OF FIVE (5) STARS!!

My life was stolen is an excellent book because people don't believe that we go
