The Firebrand

After surviving the Colony Wars and serving nearly a decade as a military police marshal on Proxima Centauri Five, retired EEF Marine Kevin Faulk is asked by his former comrades-in-arms to embark on an expedition to the outer territories. Suffering from post traumatic stress and generally weary of interstellar affairs, Kevin declines. Unhappy with his decision, Kevin’s former compatriots decide to force him to cooperate by taking someone very dear from him; his niece – who is also his adopted daughter. In a race against time, Kevin must rescue not only his ward but save the colonies from disaster at the hands of a mercenary force – and the information that may be locked away in his own mind.
