Alex was an ordinary Jewish boy, growing up in the former Soviet Union. The anti-Semitism at school pushed him towards Jewish values and placed him on the path of confrontation with the regime. However, arriving in Israel did not solve all the problems, as Israeli Intelligence Services were highly suspicious, treating Alex as a KGB spy.
