When a schism ruptures between states, the people’s President General Dru leads the Western United States in a civil war against the wealthy, plutocratic East… and becomes Dictator of America.
Like Baby Moses hidden in a basket, Beck sees the ideas of the Progressive Movement of the early 20th Century have been quietly, effectively carried downstream into our present American landscape a century later. To wit, E.M. House’s Philip Dru eerily appears to be an idea factory for actions taken during the Wilson, FDR and Obama presidencies; namely, to transform our nation’s form of government into a dictatorship by slowly and systematically undermining the limited government our Founders gave us, a limited government under the Constitution.
