Early Learning Flash Cards (Trilingual - English, Sinhala, Tamil)

These 50 flash cards are a great way to help a child identify the letters of the alphabet, Numbers up to 10 and common shapes and colours. All illustrations are bright, colourful photopraphs that will catch the child's attention. Start off by just playing with these cards with the child. You could ask the child to pick out the cards with objects he / she has seen. When the child has looked through the cards a few times, you can lead the child to the learning objective of a particular card-identifying the lower- and upper - case letters of the alphabet, learning the numbers 1 to 10, identifying common colours and shapes and getting familiar with the names of the objects illustrated on the cards. The name of the object is written in English on the front of the card. The child will soon start associating the shape of the world with the picture and the sound-this is the precursor to reading.
