Description
It begins with a bang when a bomb goes off in Deuce and Bette’s SUV parked in the driveway of their home, Chapters. After a slow investigative start by Coeur d’Alene police Lieutenant Roger Mullins, Deuce enrolls the aid of an old associate PI Larry Bystrom, known as in the trade as ‘Lurid Lawrence’ . Between Bystrom, his associate Bo Marchand and Mullins they hone in on the most obvious ‘person of interest’: Mike Majeski who is consumed with a deep-seated hatred of anyone in the scientific community who doesn’t believe in cold-fusion and its application for solving the energy crisis. The Idaho A&M administration ends up taking a hit following the revelations made public in an article written by Coeur d’Alene Register reporter Aaron styles…and the band played on. To be continued.
