Introduction to multimedia networking

In this volume, we will describe the digital media delivery and how the networks and network service have been changed rapidly. The definition of multimedia will be introduced and how networks are using this multimedia. The description of the major components of multimedia networking is given. Video streaming and videoconferencing are provided as examples to multimedia communications applications. Multimedia expectations from a communication network will be discussed.
