How to Communicate with Your Teenager

Let's face it: raising kids is tough work. It's a full time job that requires more patience, determination, research, and energy that almost any other job on the planet. And, to top it off, most parents have to do this full-time job while simultaneously holding down a job that actually pays!

While infancy, the terrible two's, and the early childhood years may seem stressful enough, many parents don't realize just how tough their jobs can get until their children enter into their teenage years. All of a sudden, their charming, well-behaved children turn into self-centered, stubborn little demons. Dealing with a teenager can be tough, but the most important thing for parents to remember is to keep the lines of communication open with your teen at all times.
