She refused to go to school and risk wilting the few petals of self-respect that remained; she had already lost too much in the last eighteen months. Jennie’s antique dealing and brutally old-fashioned father, however, had other plans for her.
Refuse to Blossom is a short story about a teenager sorting out the debris of life. In this story, Jennie must make some choices that will impact her future at Cloverfield High School. Would she allow a ghost, buried in the past, to haunt her decisions? Will Jennie grow from her dilemma or would she refuse to blossom?
