A Search for a Name (American Brahman Book 1)

American Brahman is a spiritual adventure within the American way of life. "A Search for a Name" is the first journey, following our hero’s wandering path that eventually leads him to his epiphanic revelation. The story begins with our young “cowboy” looking for direction amidst the turbulent background of the late 1960’s. He graduates high school, tries to pursue the American dream, but for some reason happiness eludes him. He feels lost and laments, “Why do we come of age without any answers?” Wrestling with his core values and a changing society, he now questions everything and delves into a forlorn search for deeper understanding. In his pursuit of truth, he gets many answers, but none satisfies the angst within his soul. His efforts only bring more confusion and he gradually degenerates into a state of despair. Nevertheless, despite all the chaos, he still believes in a higher power that gives purpose to life. Unable to go on in his present state, he casts his fate to the wind, departing on a questionable pilgrimage with only faith to lead him. On his journey, he meets a sundry cast of characters, culminating in a messianic vision that changes his life forever. He is reborn, ready to take on the rest of his life.
