Little Jim

Jim lives a life stifling to his ways. His meddling curiosity compound his troubles and tales upon tales of mischiefs ensue.Torn between the strictly disciplined life under his father of the defence forces, the affection of his school teacher mother and the bullying of his brother, Jim runs away from home during an annual holiday. His escape takes a horrible turn as he ends up in midst of men of the most vile nature. A descent into chaos follows as there are gradual realizations in the minds of both the young and the old. Set in the narrative backdrop of a liberalizing India of the early 1990's, the story delves into the heart and mind of the boy and how he copes with life and relations. Would Jim make it back alive? There is only one way to find out.
